2. Part one is about how he won the race and part two is about how his dad taught him to run.
3. It is used to symbolise life.
4. They both have the first steps.
5. It conveys the way of life and the effect to victory.

Poem 2
1. It is a scene of black magic.
2. A scary effect.
3. A witch. It scared the readers and making them wanting to read on.
